DURHAM, N.C. – Aug. 9, 2010 –SJF Advisory Services today announced four keynote speakers confirmed for the SJF Summit on the New Green Economy Sept. 14-15, 2010 at the Durham Convention Center.

Day One Keynote Presenters
Bruce Kahn, senior investment analyst with Deutsche Bank Climate Change Advisors will kick-off the event with the status of cleantech investing and the green economy. With more than 20 years of experience in environmental research and investments, Kahn advises portfolio managers and product developers on the thematic trends of climate change in investments.
Dr. Robert Wallace, president and CEO of BITH Energy, an award winning renewable energy consulting firm, will deliver the lunchtime keynote on Sept. 14. The author of An Entrepreneur’s Guide to Joint Ventures and Alliances, Wallace will share with attendees lessons learned on building successful enterprises and partnerships in the green economy.
Bruce Usher, former CEO of EcoSecurities, will deliver Cleantech CEO Panel opening remarks. Under Usher’s leadership, EcoSecurities became the world’s largest public carbon credit company. He will share lessons learned from building, funding, and selling the firm.
Day Two Keynote Presenters
Distinguished Professor of Environmental Studies at Oberlin College David Orr will close the summit describing the Oberlin Zero Carbon Project, a collaborative venture among Oberlin College, the City of Oberlin, Oberlin city schools and private sector organizations to build a prosperous post-fossil-fuel-based economy.
